In the office, we painted the walls with a blue corn color the week took possession of the house. We started out with a desk for the computer and a bookcase for my books and very little stuff on the walls. We soon added a couple of framed items on the walls and soon the room felt more complete. An additional outlet was added to provide a safe way to plug in a window AC unit. Like the rest of the house, the carpet got removed and the beautiful hardwood floor was sanded and refinished.
